Standard vs enterprise edition
Do you only have access to the SQL Server 2016 Standaard Edition? The latest update is also bringing out some features which were previously only accessible in the Enterprise Edition. Database compression, partitioning, in-memory OLTP are just some of the feautures which are now available, with some limitations, though.
