Migration from ETL tools to a modern DWA tool

In his session, Peter Welker will be demonstrating how existing mappings can be migrated in a highly automated way when swichting from classical ETL to a modern DWA tool.

When modernizing existing DWH/Data Analytics Solutions, the question of how to migrate the many existing mappings of the previous ETL tool to a new platform is becoming increasingly prevalent. Since modernization often involves the use of completely different data platforms and new tools, migrating the existing mapping logic is often a major challenge. The presentation will show how systematic metadata conversion can be used to migrate thousands of mappings in a highly automated way.
