CEO Ali Ghodsi on the roadmap of Databricks

During the Spark + AI Summit in Amsterdam, October 15-17th, BI-Platform had a conversation with Ali Ghodsi, CEO at Databricks. At the Summit Databricks announced Model Registry and Delta Lake being hosted by the Linux Foundation. Also Databricks announced an investment from about 100 million euro in an European Development Center in Amsterdam.

Ali Ghodsi talks with BI-Platform about the developments since the last Spark Summit in Amsterdam in 2015, for instance Delta Lake and the focus on Machine Learning. Also he adresses issues like Data Governance and Data Lineage en tells us about the backgrounds of the investment in the Amsterdam Databricks Center and the connection with CWI. He concludes with the partnership with Tableau and the roadmap of Databricks.
